Home-based cake business requirements in Texas
What are the required permits to start a home-based business (cakes & pastries only) in Texas?

    Hello B:

I don't know about Texas specifically, but if you SELL your goods to the public, the health department is going to require that you have a commercial kitchen (bakery) that they can inspect whenever they want...

So, that kind of kills it for a home based business.
