    Load (Power) flow analysis
If you needed to perform analysis on a buildings electrical system to determine if the system is sufficient to support additional loads would you perform a load flow analysis. If so is there any online material that explains this process or recommended texts, if not how would you begin to do such an analysis?

    Hello matt

For sure there will be software programs to help you with that.
As to the process : you need clear data on :

    - what is presently the max. allowed power available to the building?
    - what is the normal power consumption?
    - what is the peak power consumption?
    - when and how often does peak power consumption occurs?
    - how much difference between peak power consumption and top power consumption?
    - is power consumption balanced?
    - what additional load is/may be required?

I have a John Deere 285 that was working great one day and the next day bogged down badly when I engaged the mower deck or tried to climb a small hill. I changed the plugs, cleaned the filters, checked the fuel pump, removed and cleaned the carb, ran it without the muffler--all to no avail. I...
