    Safe investment?
    Is Thrivent Financial a safe place to put money in these times? My Dad just died and that is where they had their money; but someone has suggested they remove all money... help thanks...

    This is the old Aid Association for Lutherans, I have some money there mayself, Along with Woodsman of the World.

    While it is not protected by the FDIC ( I don't think so) it has been historically a good place for money.
