Quadrapilegic needs to get a van
My husband is a quad and totaled his van and is losing his job. We need help. He needs a new (used actually) van that has a lift and hand controls for him to drive. He needs to be able to drive to get another job and then drive to the new job. He works for the school district and they are going to lay off a bunch of people. When all this happens we will then lose out home. We have worked so hard for the little that we have that it would just be devasting. Is there anyone out there that can help?

Both Ford and Chevy, have van programs each year, they only do a few to the 1000's of requests, but they do.

Also does he belong to any veterans groups, they often help with some issues

    Next what about religious groups.

And sorry but I have to ask, what about his auto insurance, esp since this is a specialised van, a person should have had full coverage on it ?

I am unsure if it is called the same thing in every state
    However try to contact
DORS (dept. of Rehabilitation) They offer to help with things like this to help disabled people keep or get jobs. Possibly check with the one in your area.
Also try a Google search for your area for working disabled programs for your state and county.

    Good Luck
