    [F]What are two ways that crystal and molecular structures affect the properties of ionic and covalent compounds?:confused:

    The crystal structure of ionic comounds have ionic bonds, these ionic bonds are fairly strong so they require high energy levels to break the bonds this means that the melting point has to be high.
    Also since there are no free ions/electrons it means that the ionic compound cannot conduct electricity or heat energy very well.
