    Myself propelled troybilt mower
    :mad:My 21" self propelled honda powered mower's wheels turn with no load but stop propelling the mower when in use- have installed new belt and checked pulleys- what else could be wrong?

    Did you use an OEM belt and confirmed the numbers are correct?

    Not sure about that mower, but Troy Builts are picky about the clearances on the friction drive. Watch bearing wear on the friction disc clutch if it has one.
