    Who Sings this song?
    I'm not really sure of the lyrics but I think it goes something like this
    "Take my hand, reach out and...", this is all I can remember
    I do know for a fact that it is a song from the '80s
    I thought it was The Cure but not sure about that
    Help please?

    You might be thinking of "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode. Those aren't exactly the words - but when you mentioned The Cure, it got me thinking in that direction. Here's a link to the song:

    It's kind of new-wave, '80s
    And it is most def. a male's voice

    Ok, I figured it out!
    It was "Tenderness" by General Public
    It was so weird how I found it, I was watching VH1's "One Hit Wonder of the '80s" and it was on the list
    So yeaaa :D
