    Delta tub/shower install
I just installed a delta tub/shower valve. My question is: How long does the 1/2" copper pipe extend into the tub spout? The tub spout that I'm using is the slip-on installation type.
Should the copper pipe extend all the way to the front of the inside of the spout or just past the 0-ring?

    Thanks
    Jim

    Good question Jim,
As you can see by the image I put up The copper stub out should be 1 1/2" min. and 2 7/8ths" max. Don't forget to sand off the burr on the end of the copper pipe or it will snag the "O" ring and roll it out of position. Good luck and thak you for rating my answer. Tom
