    Can Irish courts impose travel restrictions as probation surity
    Can Iriah courts withhold passports and impose travel restriction on offenders as a probation surity?

    I believe being asked to surrender your passport is sometimes a normal procedure when you are on probation in North America, I don't see why Ireland would be any different.

    Owing to the recent outbreak of violence in Northern Ireland, yes, I guess they can.
