    What are the interest of shareholders ?

    The interest of sharehoders is primarily to make money when the price goes up.
    There is also the element of receiving dividends.

    Why do people buy shares?

    They buy shares as an investment.
    They are a commodity that can easily be
    Translated into cash.
    Profit is the primary reason.
    Dividends received are a very good form of income.
