    Need info on NYS landlord tenant act
    My next door nieghbor starts banging on my bedroom walls every morning at 5:15am.

    This should break compliance with the landlord tenant act to deny my right to peaceful enjoyment of my residence and void the renewing of her lease but I need more factual information to proceed with the legal actions.

    If your neighbor is the one creating the problem, how do you see that as interference with the landlord-tenant act?

    Are you the landlord or are you a tenant who is being disturbed by another tenant?

    If they persist, you can call the police on the neighbor and report them for disturbing the peace.
