    CAT6 cable length adapter?
I currently have a wireless home network. I installed Linux Xandros onto a hard drive and installed it into my sons computer. Unfortunalty, after some researching, no Linux OS's are currently wireless adaptable. Even though I currently have the router in a lower heigth location than it should be because of the cable length, it still works, but I want it back into a higher location for stronger signal strength, and my sons PC is in a location where it has to be. Is there some kind of adapter that will connect to the rj45 connector so additional cable can be added to it?
    Thanks,Jim

You can get a longer cable, of course, or a coupler like this one:

If you wan't to add a cable to an existing installed cable.

There's plenty of support for Wireless under Linux, especially SuSE and Ubuntu. You need to do more research.
