    Being approved for mortgage
I have been working 2 part-time jobs in the Human Services field for the past four years. My schedule is very flexible-I can pick how many hours I want to work on any given week. Because it is a difficult field and I have been feeling a bit burned out-I started working 24 hours a week as an Administrative Assistant. I still work in the Human Services position, but don't take as many hours because of my new position.

My question is-will lenders allow me to use the income from my clerical job to qualify for a mortgage? I have a previous history of about 5 years in the clerical field, so it is not like I am starting fresh in the field.

You will have to be at your other job for quite awhile for this other income to count.
