the value of a specific currency
How much is a $2 silver certificate worth with the red seal series 1953 with no letter next to the date. I am not sure of the signature but it looks like the last name is "Humphrey". The red seal is over the "TW", and the second signature is a 3 name signature with the last two names being "Baker Priest". The red numbers begin and end in "A". How much might this unique bill be worth today?

odayintrue - ON the 1953 $2.00 note youi have asked about,Here is the answers,as listed in the 2009 red book and the 2009 black book; The signatures are- PRIEST AND HUMPHREY:: ON THE FACE SIDE THERE IS THE Portrait OF PRESIDENT JEFFERSON THE RED SEAL IS OVER THE TWO::THE BACK DESIGN IS THE SAME ONE USED ON THE 1928 SERIES( JEFFERSON HOME -MONTICELLO ) THE
VALUES ARE AS LISTED ,OUT OF THE BOOK( BLACK BOOK {FROM THE HOUSE OF COLLECTABLES}:: GOOD V.FINE UNC
NOTE -UNC ( *) THIS IS FOR A STAR NOTE< STAR NOTES ARE MOST GENERLLY PRICED TWICE AS HIGH;;#3.50 $5.25 $24.00
$60.00:::: OUT OF THE 2009 RED BOOK PUT OUT BY "WHITMAN"" VF-20 UNC-63
    #1509 . -$6.50 $ 12.00
    #1509 * -$10.00 $ 45.00 (note-this line is for a star note )
NOW A LITTLE ABOUT JUST WHAT A ( STAR NOTE IS ) WHEN PRINTING money the printers are only able to go to ( 8 0 digits) so they
make the 100,000,000th a STAR NOTE regardless;; otherwise #1- A star note is made in place of a damaged or imperfect note durning the printing process, the note it replaces is destroyed in the burning furnace;; #2- STar notes are exactly as the same as the
note it replaced, #3- ON these notes you will find the star in place of the SUFFIX LETTER AT THE START OF THE SERIAL NUMBER,AND ON OTHER NOTES IT IS FOUND AT THE END OF THE SERIAL NUMBER INSTEAD OF THE SUFFIX LETTER:: #4- STAR AT START OF SERIAL NUMBER IS FOUND ON THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF NOTES "" GOLD CERTIFICATES"" UNITED STATES NOTES" AND THE "SILVE
R CERTIFICATES:: #5- When you see a star on the end of the serial number ,it will only be found on " FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES" <AND "FEDERAL RESERVE BANK NOTES:: (NOTE) There WERE NO STAR NOTES MADE FOR THE NATIONAL BANK NOTE ISSUES:) I hope that this helps you for the answers you needed; HAVE A GOOD DAY AND GOD BLESS ::F.B.E.
