    I have a B1 Visa and need to know how long I have to be back home before I can return to the USA

    The B1 is a business visitor visa, there is no set time you must be back in your home country to return to the US for business.

    The CBP inspections officer looks at several factors to determine admissibility on the B-1: documentable reason for entry, duration of visit, activities of the visit, verifiable continued employment overseas, funds to pay for visit, history of travel to US, and immigration/visa history.

    If you can get a letter from your company explaining the visit and documentation to show the short and temporary nature of the visit, that will help. Your company may have an immigration attorney to assist reviewing your B1 travel and with this letter.
