Lived in 2 states- but don't need file in one?
Ok- I lived in Wisconsin from 1/1/08-6/14/08. I did not make any income but was a student and did receive some grants from the state of Wisconsin. Do I even need to file in WI? I am a student in Indiana now and have income to report as well as grants/scholarships/loans. I just don't know if I need to fill out the WI form or not.

Any income earned while in WI must be reported to WI. If the grant received from WI is taxable income, then you must report it to WI. You are part year resident of WI.
