    Heating element and blower fan
    Hi,
I have a Norge clothes dryer that was bought in 1991. I had a problem with the heating element coming on and going right back off. I changed the thermal fuse and high limit fuse but the element still does the same thing. I then found that the blower fan seems to be broken on the shaft and I'm not sure that it is blowing at all. Would this cause the problem with the heating element?
    Thank you for the help!

Yes. Without the blower section/fan running it will allow the heater to overheat quickly and cause the high limit to kick off turning the heater off. Post the exact model and I will see if I can find a parts diagram that shows the blower wheel.
