What rights? So your boyfriend can adopt you?
Why won't emancipation work? What is your mother's feeling on all of this? What do you mean you are in and out of court... for what?

Your boyfriend is a pedophile. You should stay away from him. If your caught together he's going to jail for a long long time and will have to register with the state for LIFE.

Why can't you get emancipated? DO you really want your boyfriend to adopt you? Why do you want to get out of your mother's house?

I can't get emancipated b-c I don't have a job and I want my b-f to have legal rights over me until we can get married I don't want him to adopt me and we are in court because we got caught together

If you don't have a job you won't be able to support yourself. What if he goes to jail? You have no job. Where are you going to go now? Stop seeing him, it's illegal. Listen to your parents, and learn to be a normal teen.

No your boyfriend will not be able to have "rights over you" if he did, that would open up an entire other issue if you both had sex, guardian over child, that would be illegal even if you were of age regularly.
Next if you mom ( and I am glad she is being a good mom) but if she will not agree you are not going anywhere.
Also your dad , where ever he is, would also have to sign "his" rights over to let another adult be over you.

I need to know the steps to take to sign over parental rights of a child, and if I need to obtain a lawyer. Also can it be done while I am overseas? Also, I am not behind on child support, but after signing over rights, will I have to continue to pay? Does the mother have to agree, or can I do this...
Legal Rights, Moral rights, and rights in general

Something popped up when I was answering a question the other day.
My opinion is that there are laws(legal rights etc) and RIGHTS (moral rights)
I though that itd be interesting to discuss.
What are your opinions/experiences?
Do you believe that the law has the right to determine our rights?
