    Unfit to Drive
Not sure if this is in the right forum, but I was wondering why do so many seniors who are no longer fit to drive still have their licence? I know some men over 90 who are nearly blind, deaf and have had numerous accidents yet the police still don't revoke their licence. If a 16 year old did this they would lose their licence very quickly. This is very dangerous and it isn't right that some innocent people have to get seriously hurt or killed before these people finally lose their licence. What can be done if you know someone who is still driving when they shouldn't be? I don't mean to sound like I'm senior bashing, this is a public safety issue, not discrimination.

I'm an accident investigator - I work on these cases all the time and this has not been my experience, not from the "lot of money" standpoint, not from the standpoint of revoking the license. If any person cannot meet the physical standards, their license to drive is revoked.

It obviously varies from place to place and I can only address my personal experience.
