Have a ceiling fan with remote that works both the lights and fan. The lights work but the fan moves very slow on each of the speed. Can't get it to move faster.. Any ideas. Please respond to [email protected]

I have a Hampton Bay fan installed a couple of years ago. Right after installation, one of the metal clips which hold the glass over the bulb on, fell off.
