    Trane thermostat
    I have an older trane thermostat that I need to replace. It has a five wire terminal strip labeled 12345. How do these correspond with w/rh/rc/y/etc. on the new stat. I can't get to the roof to check the hvac unit.

    I really don`t see how you can do it without getting on the roof to check the hvac unit,, but if its you or whoever while they are up there, need to get the brand name and model numbers off the rooftop unit,, sorry
