What state do you live in?

    Are you employed?

    Do you own a home?

Manitoba.. what's that? Canada or something? Sorry... Canadian Geography has no priority over other information in my brain lol

And disabled does not necessarily equal unemployment.

I am not familiar with how these things go in Canada. But here is a link to some possibly helpful information for Manitoba:

Yes Manitoba is a Canadian provice and yes, disability does not always equal unemployment, but it was pretty clearly the case here.

Having had this exact conversation with literally THOUSANDS of clients or potential clients, it is imperative to get clear answers before advising what options or alternatives they have.

There are plenty of people out there that think that because they are disabled, whether they are actually employed or not, they are entitled to something.

But going of my assumptions, since that is apparently all we should rely on here, don't file BK... in fact, don't do anything. Why do you want to? Your credit is most likely already in the toilet. You are not employed so there are no wages to garnish. You probably don't own a home (my assumption... but since you didn't answer the questions, that's all I am left with) so there is no property to put a lien on. Open a new bank account and move all your money to it so that your creditors won't know WHO you bank with to attempt to levy your account.

Then write a cease & desist to the creditors basically telling them not to ever contact you again... which they have to obey unless they plan to sue you. However, let them sue all they want because as I explained in the previous paragraph, lawsuits or not, they have absolutely no way of taking anything from you.

Since you cannot afford to even file BK, that is the cheapest, most viable option for you.

    Good luck
