    Copy of my 1099
    I unfortunately did not file 2007 taxes on my 1099 misc.. I am scheduled to do this next month with my 2008 filing.., I need a copy of my 1099 for 2007 and my employer does not have this.? She sent me how much I made for that year, but does not have the form. Where can I get this?

    Once you know how much you made, this is enough.
    You are independent contractor. You must file your tax return if your income is $400 or more. You will report your income and expenses on schedule C or C-EZ (Form 1040). This income is subject to SE tax at 15.3%. Read: Your U.S. Tax Return: Tax Filing by Self Employed Sole Proprietor or Independent Contractor

    If you still do not have the Form 1099, call 1-800-829-1040 to get a copy of your tax transcript for 2007. The Form 1099 information will be on that tax transcript.
