    Do I pay taxes?
    I am thinking of buying a property (land) in south america (Paraguay)
    I am a US citizen, do I have to pay property taxes? I am told I already have to pay the taxes down there. If so, which tax form should I use.

    You probably will pay property taxes.

    As to which forms are needed, contact a tax consultant in Paraguay.
