Hello All, Here is my story. I am 28. I have been on the pill for years. Doctor took me off in October.( I was having trouble) After I stopped taking them I felt good periods came back for those 2 months like normal. Then put me back on in After my period in December. I was on vacation and stupid me left them at home so I missed the first week of the new pack so I didn't take any at all. I have been waiting for my period for 2 weeks, I have all the cramping, Back ache, but no blood. I have am increase in Discharge (no smell or color). I would go to the DR but like a lot of people in the world I got laid of last month so no health insurance for me. I don't want to hurt the baby if I am pregnant. I have never had this problem.

Have you tried a home pregnancy test yet? If not, do that first. Your period may just be irregular from the mix up with your pill. If you get a negative result, odds are you aren't pregnant. You could try another test in another week if still no period, or wait until next month and see what happens when your period would be due. In the meantime, use a different form of contraceptive.

Thank you! I took one Sunday morning and it was negative. I guess I will do the waiting game. Thanks for your advice =)

You may want to looking into COBRA, it would help cover you now that you are laid off, but it would also be an asset if you are pregnant, depending on the cost.
