    F1-OPT-H1b taxes
    Hi I was a student and filed
    1040 NR EZ for the first year 2005
    Then some how I ended up filing 1040 2006, 2007
    Now I am on H1B starting 2008
    How Should I file my taxes this year.. can members advice

    You probably converted to H-1B on 1 October 2008. If so, you need to file as a non-resident alien, filing Forms 1040NR-EZ and 8843 one last time.

    You also need to amend your 2006 and 2007 returns, filing Form 1040X and attaching properly-prepared Forms 1040NR-EZ and 8843 to the Form 1040X for each respective year.
