    Cast iron to pvc
    I have an old tile shower in my basement and I want to replace it with a shower stall the old shower has a cast iron pipe how should I connect the drain from the new to the old?

    How large is that cast drain, at least 2"? Most fiber glass shower stalls have a drain sump that will slide over the existing pipe and employ a rubber collar to create the seal. Any chance of a picture showing the existing pipe?
