    Honda Accord (1998) P1491 code
I have recently received a code of P0401 which says that my EGR valve was bad in my 1998 honda accord. I changed it out with a new one ( and a PCV valve) from AutoZone and now I get a code of P1491. AutoZone says that it is a bad connection between my plug and the EGR valve. I cleaned it off, sprayed it with an electrical cleaner and hooked it back up. The code came back... what else can I do?
    Any ideas??
    Thanks,
    Tom

Reset the ECM, before doing anything else. If the code returns, try cleaning the connectors with jeweler files--some sensors won't tolerate any type of cleaner without throwing a code. Then, reset the ECM again and see if the problem is solved.
