    NY city tax on H1B or EAD status?
    Hi,

    Do I have to pay New York city tax when I am on an H1B visa? How about when I move to an EAD status?

    Yes, on H1-B you pay city tax. You also pay FICA taxes, federal income tax and state income tax.
