    79 chevy 4x4
    I have a 1979 chevy 4x4 the is a 4 speed manual tranny... how do I get the clutch to disengage or do I have to put a new one in it

    If it can't be accomplished by adjustment, usually removing a clip and adjusting cable slack (under the hood), then clutch replacement is the only option.
