Keeping assets and closing a corporation
I am the only remaining shareholder and owner in my corporation. I filed my articles of dissolution and 966 with the IRS and MI. This corporation has some assets that I am keeping for personal use now and some assets that I have not been able to sell as I keep moving. I dissolved the company in March 2008 and have not made any money since 2005. I know I need to file my taxes for 2007 and 2008 but what forms or what do I need to do with reporting of the assets that I still have. I want to make sure I do this right so I pay the correct personal and corporate taxes.

You should contact a tax professional that does corporation tax returns.
