    Vent placement
I am installing a washing machine outlet box and new stool on an existing 3" waste line. I am connecting the two vents together and running them up to the roof. My question is can I run the vent from any where under the stool and should my vent for the wash box be under or above the trap?

Roll a Coimbo or a wye up on a 45 degree angle downstream from the closet bend and take the vent off from there.
The washer trap should connect to the vent and drain as shown. (see image).
Good luck and thank you for rating my answer, Tom

Roll a Combo or a wye up on a 45 degree angle or upright downstream from the closet bend and roll another Combo or a wye up on a 45 degree angle or upright just past the washer trap. You may tie the two vents together 4 feet off the floor and revent back in the attic to a existing roof vent. In the future please simply add on to the existing thread instead of starting a new one. Ijust have to go in and merge the threads if you do. Regards, Tom
