so when I was younger, I think I was like 8 or 9. I watched my dad be arrested,the police pointed their guns at my dad while he was holdong my hand and when my dad saw the gun he grabbed me and put me in front of him as if he was using me as a shield I was traumatized, for a little while,as any young child put through that would be, but lately I've been I'm 15 now. And I keep having flashbacks, and dreams about what happened. I can't seem to get it out of my head.its killing me, I need to do something but I just don't know what

Honey do you have anyone around you that you could talk to? I suggest you speak to a reliable trustworthy adult who could help you get some counsilling to deal with your issues. Alternitavely depending on which country you live in you may be able to spk to your doctor about getting counsilling yourself. I'm going through counsilling now to deal with things from my childhood (memories and flashbacks) and the counsilling doesn't make you forget but talking about it with someone really does help you move and put the past behind u. u really need to get the help though as I left it 10 years and was sinkin into depression before I done something about it.
