    Child support
Ten years ago it turned out my daughter was not in college when she should be and I ended up having to return some child support. At the time my ex said don't bother - he had as he says "taught me a lesson".

Now ten years later I find there is a lien on my home. Is this legal? And the original amount of 3,000 they say is now 11,000. How much interest can they charge?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes, who is asking for it back, the ex or the state.

Check with your county clerk and find out exactly WHEN the lien was filed and by whom.

Child Support - 2 child living at separate parents - 1 child turning 18 soon. [ 6 Answers ]

I will try not to make this too long but I went through a 3 year court battle with my ex with our 2 kids who are now 17 (Daughter) and 15 (Son). My son has been living with his dad since he was like 9 because I let him. Court battle was dropped due to judge thinking my ex was lying after 3 years...
