Laundry - I Don't know how you came to think it is your water valve ,that is giving you trouble, I hope you tested it first , IM including how to test it in this post;; #1- unplug the power cord ,turn off the water at the faucets, remove the water hoses from the back of the washer;; Now #2- lift the lid up ,hold on to the water valve , remove the screws from ,the back out side; DISCONNECT THE NOZZEL HOSE and lift the piece out from inside the washer , Using sa butter knife or a small common screw driver remove the SCREENS FROM INSIDE THE VALVE WHERE WATER HOSES WERE CONNECTED< CHECK THEM FOR ANY TRASH AND STOPAGES : #3-
IF THE first thing was not the cause then,,
YOU WILL NEED A ( VOLT-OHM METER ) ONE can be gotten at Lowe's OR HOME DEPOT IN THE ELECTRICAL DEPT> FOR ABOUT $10.00
#4- SET THE VOLT -OHM meter to the RX100 SCVALE ( POWER CORD STILL UNPLUGGED )
CLIP THE METER PROBS TO THE WIRE TERMINALSOF THE SOLEINOD OF THE FILL VALVE - { IF THE METER READS 250 - 1000 OHMS, THE UNIT IS GOOD IF }{ IF THE METER READS HIGHER <THEN IT IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED:: IF
YOU have to replace it ,Make a picture of the wireing before disconnecting the wires; #5-
After replaceing the unit and wires hooked back up replace in washer in reverse of thr removel;; ( NOTE IT also could be the TEMMPERATURE CONTROL SWITCH OR THE SELECTOR SWITCH< OR TIMER SWITCH :: THESE COULD CAUSE THE SAME TROUBLE:: I
HOPE THIS HAS answered your question and fixes the washer for you ,IF NOT COME BACK ON THIS POST AND JUST HOLLER:: HAVE A GOOD DAY AND GOD BLESS:: F.B.E.
