My hot water pressure sucks but my cold works fine
I recently moved into a 100+ year old house and ever since I moved my hot water pressure just sucks. I tried clearing out the faucets screens and shower head but nothing changed. I don't know what to do and I really don't want to pay for a plumber that "thinks" he might now what's wrong. I tried turning the pressure up but nothing changed. Im about to lose all hope, I don't know what to do at all. If I missed anything that might help let me know.

How old is your water heater?

I would suggest to shut the cold water valve to the heater, drain some water from the heater, disconnect the hot line going out from the heater, remove the nipple check if it is free or you may find it blocked if blocked and it is a galvanize nipple make a trip to a home supply store and ask for a proper nipple this will do it, Thanks.

Low Cold Water Pressure in Bathroom Sink, Hot works fine. [ 2 Answers ]

I have read many of the threads regarding low cold water pressure, but haven't yet found one that specifically applies to the bathroom sink. Lost Hot Water Pressure but Cold Water is fine [ 1 Answers ]

Hi, We had a flood in our laundry room earlier today when the aquarium I was siphoning into the nearby sink started to siphon onto the floor instead (the hose came out of the sink and was draining water onto the floor). I didn't realize this, and suspected a leaky pipe when I saw the water...

No Cold Water Pressure - Hot works great! [ 3 Answers ]

Usually I know it's the other way around but in our house we have really low water pressure.. but only with the cold. The most noticeable effect is when we try to use the kitchen sprayer with the cold water and it just dribbles out. When we use it with the hot, it works fine. What could be wrong...
