    Court Process
I am being charged with Theft Over 5000 in Toronto and I was wondering about the court process. My first court date is in a little over a month. I am supposed to be going to Basic Training for the Army around the same time (not sure exact day) and I will be in Basic for about 3 1/2 months and then moving on to other training for another 4 - 6 weeks. I was wondering about how I could postpone my court proceedings until I am finished with my training (at least 6 months).

Umm I think you need to postpone your training. If you go to a judge to request a postponemnt the judge is likely to contact the Army personnel office and put your enlistment on hold until the case is resolved.
