Internet page display isn't all there.
I have a XP device that won't display all the content. It appears that on some websites the user will call me to show that random parts of the page don't show up or sometimes the text isn't there. I know I'm missing something and now today I opened a powerpoint file to find out that that user can't see some of what I can see. This has got me stumped beyond belief.

For fun, first have them try it in a different browser (I am assuming you are using IE)

    Try FireFox or Chrome

If it works, then its IE. Try doing a repair install, check all setting (reset them?)

Make sure they have all needed plugins, etc... popup blockers running? (some block more) etc... helper bars installed? (like yahoo).. remove them (uninstall ALL of them)

Do a part by part compare to one that works.

StaticFX, Been there... Done that. I've got the latest version of IE, I've looked at all the settings in IEand can't find anything out of the ordinary. Here's a twist on this. He just showed me a Powerpoint file that acts the same as the IE problem. It's like the background doesn't want to be seen along with some of the images, but not everything is missing. Very weird.

    Hmm.. that's VERY odd...

    Stumped me!
Did you wipe all cahce and temp files? (Download install run CCleaner... pick it all and run)

Or, could it MAYBE be a ram issue? Grfx card? How much is left on the HD?

Is it IE8? Try clicking the compatibility button (right next to the addr bar)?

    I'm stumpped
