Utilities Shut OFF Where My Child IS (CA)
I have just found out that where my ex and my son live, the utilities have been shut off. Does anyone know if that is enough that I can petition the court for temporary full custody until he can get situated and stable again to share joint?
How do I proceed with this?

This should be reported to children's services IMMEDIATELY. They should then award your temporary custody until the situation is fixed.

Just found out he is staying over at a friends house from his mother, but it is court order to give me a 45 day notice via certified mail and he isn't telling me where they are when I ask about them. He is refusing to talk to me at all. Not sure where to go from here.

The court order specifies he has to give you 45 noptices of moving?
If he is not complying with the order, then go back to court asking that he be cited for contempt.

What happens if he is cited for contempt? I have 14 violations of court order that I have filed with the police station from him in the last 2 1/2 months. This is the second time he has moved in 2 weeks without telling me. The first time I had to get the information from my son. There is a lot more going on of course, too much to list here, we have another court date next month.

GThe police won't do anything about violation of the order. Reporting to them is a waste of time.
Get your documentation together and bring it all to court.

As a new landlord, I developed my own tenant-landlord contract. I wanted the tenant to pay all utilties so I include a phrase that says,
