    Brokerage fees on stock purchases
    Is is possible to deduct brokerage fees on stock purchases from investment companies like TD Ameritrade?

    When you purchase stock, the brokerage fees is part of your cost. That is brokerage is added in the cost.

    When you view your trade confirmations or 1099b, the cost and proceeds include the trading cost. So use those amounts and you will be OK.
