    Sales Tax ID?
    I am brand new in the business end of crafts. I make hand-crafted items of every kind, as well as jewelry and photography. Being new in the business end, I need to know - how do I got about getting my Sales Tax ID# ? There are so many sites at various costs. Which are secure, legitimate, and cheapest?

    Hi, kellelynn!

    Since your question really isn't so much about crafts, jewelry or photography per se, but about getting something concerning taxes for a business, and wasn't getting a response in Crafts, I've moved it to the Taxes forum topic area where I'm sure that it will be addressed sufficiently to your satisfaction.     You get your sales tax number by going to the Dept of Revenue of your state and apply for one.
    And your business licnese from either / or both from the city or county
