    Placing things on Hold!
Well my boyfriend and I have placed our relationship on hold due to his family is having problems. One problem is that his grandmother is very ill, and his mother has some very drug issues, I don't know what to do? He does know how long it will take. I talked to him on Wednesday on this week and he said we'll talk? What should I do or are we over?

I went through the same thing with my ex few months ago his mom was sick and is still sick for over 3 months now and he told me same thing but I was not as supportive and I pushed him by forcing him to make a decision, so just be a friends for rite now and support him but do not put your life on hold.

Have the talk with him. There really is no such thing as a relationship on hold. You love, and support, through good times, and bad, or you break up. I can see, not seeing each other as much, but a hold is a break up in my book, and waiting for personal problems to clear up is a waste of time, and not fair.

Ya this 'hold' stuff is a crock, to be honest. For better and worse is a relationship...

Well I failed to explain that I'm ill as well so we made the decision due to all of our problems so I'm giving him space.
The reason you asked the original question was because what??
Disagrees: for better and worst is when your marriage our then that if a problem happens all you can do is support him the best you can and he through it would be fair if we contiune our relationship with these problems over our heads.
That's what partners do, help each other through the hard times, or else what would be the point??

Sorry, I am not understanding what you disagree with.

Totally agree with the above-relationship is about sharing good and bad times.

Sounds like the hold is also because you guys have problems? If so best to talk and face it, instead of ignoring it.
