    Faucet on, no water
City turned off water and replaced some pipes in my street. When I went to turn them on, all came on except the bathroom faucet. It will only drip water very slowly. How can I get it to run again?

The pipe might have dirt in the line.

    Hi Kline7107...

Remove the aerator at the end of the spout (see picture). Here, spin the aerator out CLOCKWISE to remove (may need pliers here) and then run the water from the faucet with aerator OUT. Then clean the aerator and replace. Water should be restored.

If the spray is messy then it may be necessary to replace the aerator entirely... sold at all home improvement stores. Just be sure to bring the old one with you for comparison... ;)

    Good luck.

Mass - Yep. I'll bet there are a lot of little rocks clogging the line and they ended up at the aerator.
