Hi!
I am new to this and am very confused and eager to get pregnant. Can somebody help me please.
I have a negative hcg test (July 5th 2006)40 days from lmp (May26 2006) and not got AF at 77days (August 4th 2006)from lmp have brown spotting occasionally not enough to wear a panty liner too.I Have PCOS and am taking glycomet. Am on medication for High BP and sugar Take insulin injections as well.TTC for the past six months. Have sore nipples and feeling lethargic , nauseous and chest burn too.

Welcom to AMHD, I hope we can help you. But to do that better I need a little more info if possible.

Are you, or have you, taken any form of birth control? If so, what kind and for how long? It is also important to note your age. Age is important due to hormonal fluctuations that occur in all of us women during certain cycles of our lives.

With this information, and any more you can give, we will be able to help you better.

However, with the symptoms you are describing it sounds as though you may be pregnant. I would try another HPT since you took the last one one month and 5 days ago.

I appreciate the quick response.To answer your mail: I am 32 years old and have never been on any birthcontrol.I am just too scared to take a HPT as I hve been disappointed one too many times.I would like to know if it is possible to get pregnant with an absent period.

Has your doctor discussed the possibility of pregnancy with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)?

It is my understanding that it is VERY hard to conceive if you have been diagnosed with this condition.

I suggest you make an appointment with a doctor who specialized is fertility and reproduction and discuss the likelihood of pregnancy.

It is most likely you will need fertility drugs to conceive with PCOS. Please refer to this website for more information.

Just so you know, this is the most common hormonal disorder among women of childbearing years.
