    How is child support taxed?
Is child support taxed before the recipeint gets the payment, or when the recipient files taxes, and has the support as income. Is it taxed then?

Child support is not income, it is paid by the non custodial parent from money that is their income.
The income paid is also not tax deductable to the payer.
