    Hair loss in my cat
    Within the last month and a half, my cat has been experiencing dramatic hair loss. He is losing his hair mainly on his legs and stomach. At first I thought it was the food I gave him. Then I switched back to his regular food, and no change. Is there any other way I can help my cat without having to go to the vet?

    There are many reasons your cat may be losing his fur, some of which are non life threatening but unfortunately some of which are serious and can be life threatening.

    There are so many reasons for fur loss in cats that it is difficult to list and describe them here. I have therefore given you some links for you to research this problem.

    My advice must be to take your pet to the vet as soon as you can in order for the problem to be investigated and diagnosed.
