    Child support and SSI
    At present I am on disability in the state of Florida. My ex owes a great sum of child support. I need to ask this. If he finally pays me the arrearage or any part of it... Will this effect the amount of my disability check?

    No. Disability is based on disability, not on your financial condition UNLESS it's some sort of Government assistance other than SSD. Then, yes, income matters.
