    Tacoma- stick or automatic?
Looking to get a taco. I live in jersey where its about 30% country driving, and 70% city. Ill be taking the truck up to PA for snowboarding, and offroading in the summer. I hear a stick gets you more power and control out of a vehicle, while an automatic trans is just easy to use. I would have my heart set on a stick if it weren't for the fact that the main road in my town is known for its traffic. Any suggestions?

Manuals tend to get better gas mileage but you need to be careful; if you don't have the best skills driving one, you can burn out your clutch prematurely and then you'll be wishing you went with an automatic.

This car happens to get better gas mileage with Automatic than Manual. Plus, automatic still comes with special gears for towing/uphill/getting stuck in the mud. SO the automatic is awesome, however, if you're looking to save a few hundred bucks and get a manual, I would not be worried about the traffic in your small town.

I have a 2008 double cab 4WD V6. I work in highway construction. I have only needed the 4WD twice: once, when I was parked in dirt at a steep downward angle, so when I tried to reverse out, I could not because all of the weight was on the front wheels, but I got out with 4WD turned on, no problem. The second was during a snowstorm, when there was about 1.5 ft of snow all around me. With 4WD, I was flying over this snow.

On occasion, about once a day, when I go to start the truck, nothing will happen. Shut the key off and try again and it will start fine. The battery is only 4 months old and is always strong. Does this sound like a ground or corroded terminal on starter? Any other suggestions
