    Yellow discharge + period
    I just got off my period today and the whole week I was on my period I was having a mixture of blood and yellow discharge. Now that Im off my period I still have yellow discharge. Ive heard it is a yeast infection. Can you get a yeast infection if your not sexually active?

    Yes, you can get a yeast infection if you are not sexually active.

    What causes a yeast infection? Could it be anything other then a yeast infection?

    Yeast Infections happen to most all women at some point of time and is not an indicator of cleanliness.

    They should be treated and you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

    -I didn't judge her... I'm telling the truth. Yeast infections are "gross!" and I gave her an answer unless you are "blind"... to see a doctor. :eek:
