Why is your dog underweight and how underweight is he/she? How long has your dog been underweight? Have you seen a vet? We need a little more information in order to help you.

There are animal hospitals whereas even if you do not go to that particular vet or any vet, they will give you professional advice after asking you a series of questions. We do need just a little bit more info here Jeraka.
Dogs can get away with eating a lot more table food than cats. One good example would be pasta. I'm sure you already know they like any kind of meat. They'll eat rice and potatoes and bacon and eggs. Sometimes even a cup of coffee. I'm only kidding about the coffee. The rest that I've mentioned is true. I know what will make your dog gain weight but I certainly do not want to tell you in case it may hurt the dog. Please tell us if he has any diseases, conditions, sensitivities to certain foods that you may know of, etc. Glad to know that you are concerned and want to take care of your pooch. Please don't let him get sick if that's what is happening. Why did she lose the weight to begin with or did you get her, adopt her like that? Post back soon.
